Good morning Westboro! As the weather continues to warm up, were starting to see more of you out there hitting the pavement. Heres another great tip from the one and only Donna Davis! Refueling and Rehydrating after a long run are super important, you have a 30 minute window to get some easy-to-digest nutrients into your muscles before they start to loose their ability to refuel. Try Donna’s Recover Smoothie, filled with good carbs, electrolytes and healthy plant protein. Blend together until smooth: 1 banana, ½ cup of ice, 1-2 stalks of chopped celery, 2 tablespoons hemp, 1-2 big soft dates (pitted), ½ cup coconut water, ½ cup fresh orange juice, tiny dash of sea salt.
