Good morning brothers n sisters. They say : life is never easy but worth to be lived. Today we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, friendship days,valentine days, mother...father...sister...brother and other days. Do we have sentiments, emotions, involvement behind ? Just compare these with our traditional ones like shravani somvar, vatasavitri pournima,naagpanchami, rakhi pournima, bhaubeej, gudhipaadava, diwali, dassehra, lakshmipujan. What difference did you notice in these two generations? We see in d traditional ones: emotions, sentiments, solicitude, attachment ,involvement, faith in the traditions, love for our religion, respect for our scientific n spiritual ways of our ancestors...our pride for our heritage, culture,legacy. In the modern ones, we primarily focus on formalities, pomp, expenditure, show off, mockery of traditional values ,jeering ancestors n parents as orthodox..... We are blind....literally ...blind followers.....imitators.... of the Western culture. We celebrate to show . we celebrate to be with the flow.....without sensing n understanding we are getting carried away by wrong notions, petty assumptions. Life is an event to be cherished. Bapuji said: Live as if you are going to die tomorrow n learn ad if you are going to live forever. Every phase of life either offers us moments to enjoy n celebrate or...... the lessons to learn n correct our ways.....either way you look at life.... It is either a pleasant experience or a learning episode. We can cherish either joyous , rapturous, ecstatic moments ....n be happy or..... We can celebrate the learnings for they make us more mature, learned n profound. Surviving is trivial, it does not have any level or standard. Thats why we call a living standard n not surviving standard. The sign of a living thing is to grow...in happiness or in learning. As we cant touch a rivers same water twice....so we cant get the same phase of life again....so why not enjoy the challenges, circumstances, ordeals , trials and tests by the Almighty.?????
