Good morning everyone.Today the defense in the Zimmerman Martin trial expects to rest.I am actually expecting a not guilty verdict.This expectation is indicative of the value I feel is assesed to the lives of black Americans. (I identify myself as an black American).I base this opinion of lesser value not on my great diverse network of Friends and peers but on actual disparate issues we fight daily in which we are unable understand the justification for as most times,none is even offered in the first place. As I wait for the verdict,I will not harden my heart, I will not judge anyone as a whole,I will not nor have I hold a believe that anyone other than Mr.Zimmerman is responsible for Travons death.I will continue to fight for Justice for all .I will continue to teach our children to treat others as you wish to be treated and there is one that sees and knows all.So,as this verdict comes down,be peaceful, be steadfast and be resolved to make this world a better place starting with you...
