Good morning everyone!! With our people we have a clan system each clan has its own gifts and attributes>>>>------->> The Bear Clan people have knowledge of the Sacred medicines, and The Wolf Clan people are teachers and seers, The Crane clan, and Loon are Chieftain clans, The Martin Clan are warriors, and it goes on They all have their place in the Sacred lodge... So to to find a good mate we look for a clan that sits on the opposite side of the Lodge such as the an earth clan which would be Bear would be safe to marry a Crane Clan Sky Clan, or a Wolf Clan Earth clan could marry a fish clan Water clan... This is how we kept order within our people, and didnt marry close to our relation. As the smoke rises I give thanks for the original order that kept our people in balance and at peace!!!
