Gosh!I do not understand our people! How is the country going to turn around? By herself? The way people defend C O R R U P T I O N amazes me. Corruption is part of us. GEJ did not start it GEJ is trying his best How are you sure Buhari can defeat corruption Buhari is corrupt too,If you were in GEJs shoes, you would be worse. Tinubu is a thief and corrupt, how is he going to bring him to bookBuhari is mixing with fraudulent people. And so forth and so on... The truth is Buhari,a 72 year old retired General is not the one who is going to pursue the thieves and fraudsters wherever they are. He is simply going to lead by example by applying a zero tolerance to corruption. Nigerians will be unable to offer bribes to the Policemen and the Policemen will be unable to demand or accept bribes. Just imagine a policeman politely demanding your particulars instead of your particulars! It would be very refreshing and it CAN be done by Buhari! Under GEJ more of the same.People waiting for their turn to loot. Corrupt minded people will have a rethink under a Buhari Presidency! They know there will be consequences, repercussions, deterrence, retribution, payback, etc. They know the EFCC will grow sharp incissors and premolars to bite and chew effectively. They know the power of the Police to arrest, investigate, prosecute crimes will be restored. It will be a new dawn.Corrupt politicians, judges, legislators, businessmen, youths, etc will have no hiding place. OBJ has said that he will not mind Buhari jailing him if found guilty of any criminal act. This is a very weighty endorsement of Buhari from a person who should know him. Yet some question a man whom a wordsmith has aptly coined the term Mr.Integrity for. A man when he had a gun did not rob us to coma. Even IBB recently proclaimed himself a saint when compared with GEJ! He was merely stating the fact that to whom much is given more is expected. When did Nigerians start using mobile phones at such a monumental level? Citizens of less endowed countries like Benin Republic were using them before us. Very soon those without sense of discerning will attribute Facebook and other social media to the GEJ regime. His backyard, the Niger-Delta remains a huge dilapidated site while he wines and dines with billions of naira in Abuja! The neglect and degradation of the Niger-Delta is the reason for militancy, the reason for amnesty to militants. The reason Saro Wiwa was murdered, the reason Isaac Boro suffered an untimely death. The reason many militants died.A struggle to change the fate of the oppressed Niger-Deltans and radically transform it into an El Dorado. No,they would rather show us trains running from Iddo to Kano.Of light trains running from Abuja to Kaduna. They tell us about billions of naira of oil wealth spent on Airports elsewhere,on Nomadic schools,on new Universities.Money spent on roads from Lagos -Ibadan - Lokoja. If this GEJ knows why He will come to his people and they will know him notcome 14th February,he wont be shocked,he is dead to spirit. He has succeeded in empowering some ex-militants and tribal chiefs. He has left undone what he should have done. I read somewhere that the IPP Project being constructed by the Delta State Government contracted to Davonitch (owned by Victor Ochei) was on fire at Oghara. Some said it was the store that was on fire.Whatever happened, the reason for non-completion is very apparent to us now - the project was gutted by fire. This is why we need a L I O N to lead us not a lamb.Impunity has taken over the mindsets of our people under the peedeepee regime at the centre and at the State level. An end to corruption would see a rebirth of the nation.A reduction in corruption would start bringing in or preventing billions of naira from being taken away. We must take the bull by the horns.Only a courageous man can do this.Sai Buhari -he has nothing to lose.We will give him a befitting State burial were he to die in the Cause of salvaging the Nation.(To be edited).
