Got a letter in the mail from a young man who is now incarcerated. After a few letters exchanged, I asked him for a huge favor and of course, he helped me out with what I needed. I told him that I have kids in my program that think prison is cool, but maybe you can drop them a line or 2. In 2 weeks, I dont know where he found the time to do this, but the letter was/is right on time. I used the letter Friday, and I will be using it on an as needed basis, but his words are so powerful that I had to share one small piece. IF I HAD IT TO DO OVER, I WOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY MOM, LISTENED TO MR. STEVENSON, AND JUST STAYED IN SCHOOL AND WENT TO COLLEGE. Man, I cried.
