Got the bathroom completely remodeled and all finished! I just want to say thanks to Dorothy Peper, ed peper for lending my the saw, to my buddy Jesse Baker for the hook up on the granite tiles, thank you to Jesse Eldridge for installing the new tub and shower. If you ever need plumbing work hes the man to call! Last but not least my buddy Justin for helping remove the old cast iron bathtub. Here are some pics of the finished bathroom and some during the tear out of the old bathroom. The old bathtub was cast iron weighed 300 lbs. and had a manufacture date of 03/26/47. The new shower and tub is much larger than the old one and has a rainfall showerhead and matching faucet set. For the floor I installed Dakota mahogany granite tiles and they really set it off, its dark but contains hues of purples, oranges, and browns. For the toilet I installed a Gerber dual flush toilet that has two different buttons for flushing. A smaller button for #1s that uses a gallon to flush and also a larger button for #2s that uses 1.6 gallons. Its really water efficient and wasnt any more expensive than a regular toilet. For the vanity I installed a euro style vanity with curved porcelain bowl and paired it with a waterfall style faucet. The old medicine cabinet was from the early 50s but we had the mirror recut and I refinished the interior so its basically like a brand new medicine cabinet. I replaced the old 50s style light fixture with a new fixture. The wall covering has all been replaced, for that I installed a Milan marble wall paneling. We found a nice towel rack, toilet paper holder, rack with shelf, and a very cool glass shelf that we installed above the sink. Got the walls and ceiling painted with nice Happy Trails Carmel color, the name sold me :-) I painted the door and trim white with the squares in the door accented with the Happy Trails.
