Gov. Cuomo has been slinging mud at Rob Astorino for several months now. He has said very little about what he, Cuomo, has done for us until lately, when he has said he lowered our state taxes, but complains that property taxes are still too high. What he neglects to mention is that unfunded state mandates are perhaps the primary reason for this. He wants rules but doesn’t want to pay for them. Cuomo was also the primary driving force behind his unconstitutional S.A.F.E. Act: a law that actually makes criminals safer by reducing and, ultimately, removing the right of self-protection from law-abiding citizens while he keeps his armed guards. And there’s more in store if he wins re-election. The upcoming gubernatorial election on Tuesday is one of the most important ever in New York. We rank at or near the bottom in various measures of State desirability and performance. Next Tuesday, we have the opportunity to turn New York around and to rid ourselves of this tyrannical governor. Please vote for the Rob Astorino - Chris Moss team on Tuesday, November 4. Thank you.
