Governor Amaechi while addressing Rivers people on his account of stewardship said When we came on board in 2007, we said Rivers money for Rivers people. So I asked the commissioner for works; Hon. Dakuku Peterside to award all the road contracts to only Rivers contractors. But because due process was not followed, all the roads were poorly constructed and a whooping N345 billion Naira, went down the drain in four years. Now we have to reconstruct most of the roads again. Today, show me a bad road and I will show you the Rivers contractor that did it. Therefore, I have rescinded my decision. It is now, Rivers money for any contractor that can do a good job --Gov. Amaechi 2011 It is sad, that Dakuku Peterside; who represents Gov. Amaechis third term bid, connived with his master and awarded political roads to their friends and cronies; who do not have any business in civil engineering, just in a bid to build political structure at the expense of our common wealth. At this point, its very important to remind Rivers people of this wastage by Hon Dakuku Peterside as revealed by Gov. Amaechi. And to rise and say NO to inexperience, incompetency, and financial recklessness. #DakukuBringBackOurMoney
