Grandpas Obituary: Obituary of Val Snow After a brief illness, on August 23, 2014 at the age of 90. Beloved Husband of Roma for 68 years. Loving Father of Sandy and Bill Lloyd, Judy and Rick Schuller, Debbie and the late Harry Reid (2009), David Snow, Murray and Tracy Snow. Cherished Papa of Melissa (Troy), Scott, Sean (Melissa), Griffin and Nicky (Ken). Dear Great-grandfather of Keshia (Rob), Madison, Lauryn and Aleigha. Predeceased by his parents, Howard and Hilda Snow. Loving brother of Ruby Tucker and the late Lyman, Lorna Harvey and the late Ron, Howard and Carol Snow, and predeceased by Nita Pike, Harold Snow and Keith Snow. Loving brother-in-law of Doug Pike, Valarie Snow and John and Beti Morgan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, both in Canada and Wales. Val was a proud parishioner and a Senator of Church of the Ascension. He was also a veteran of WWII and was a member of the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment, serving in the Italian Campaign (1943-1945). He was past president and life member of the Windsor Sportsmen’s Club, a life member of the Masonic Temple, Trinity Lodge, a proud employee of Chrysler Canada and a member of C.A.W. Local 1498. Special thanks to the nurses and the doctors on 2 North at Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus for your love and compassion.
