Grateful that I made it to Mt Gilead tonight safely. Should have left way earlier but grateful to have spent time with my son on this tough day. A day full of gratitude, teaching moments and there but for the Grace of God thankfulness. They found the missing kid from our group and he was alive. My son is alive and sober (even though my car is Totalled and several other challenges since last Dec) and my daughter is alive and well amidst her health challenges. Someone once told me I am a package deal. Damn right I am! And happy to be. And anyone who wants to know what real love and real family are like would be lucky to get a glimpse into our lives, be a part of our clan, and own a piece of my big marshmallow heart. Nothing can beat us or get us down. We always rise above whatever the universe throws at us. All this will pass and we will still be strong, faithful and full of abundant love and joy. So grateful for Gods grace and love! Grateful for resiliency! I left my house at 5:30 pm cst Thursday and arrived at 2:30 am EST Fri. Was pulled over about 3-1/2 hours ago, to which I gushed real tears of exhaustion and shared I was going to get my daughter from a Paul Newman medical camp to take her to Cincinatti Childrens for a kidney scan. Thought he was giving me a ticket I knew I couldnt afford. Instead he came back in 5 minutes and handed me my liscence and told me to drive safe and slower in rural areas where the speed limit drops. So grateful God guided me. Getting pulled over by the motorcycle cop woke me up with adrenaline. Must have needed it. Blasting my radio interspersed with a Tony Robbins Personal Power Cd was not cutting it. The nice cop woke me up, got me to slow down, and did not give me a ticket. Think he was afraid to see me cry even more. What a day. How blessed was me not getting a fine? And Kevin is safe! And I know every single thing in my Life is EXACTLY the way it is supposed to be. Thanks be to God! I am so grateful!!!!!
