Great Spark of a helping hand!! Love Leann Years ago, I fell twice in front of my home and couldnt get up right away. Once, a stranger saw me and turned his car around and came back to check on me (I was just getting up that time). The second time, some friends of mine just happened to be passing by and wondered, Why is Miss Debbie on the ground next to her car? and came and helped me up. I so appreciated that, and am willing to do the same. A few years ago, I saw an elderly woman fall on the sidewalk while I was driving by. Was about to pull over but saw the car behind me stop so I kept going. Was very thankful for those who stopped! Last year, I saw a different elderly woman fall and the car ahead of me and I stopped right away and got out to help. Once I was sure she was ok, the man was helping her up, and no one needed to be called, I went on my way. Recently, I was driving home from church and saw a man (who looked like he might need help) half sitting on the grass between the curb and the sidewalk. I drove past, but kept wondering if he was ok. Turned around, and drove back. Stopped near him, and walked to the end of my car to ask if he was ok. He looked over and pleasantly waved me away, his way of letting me know he was fine. I wouldnt have been able to help him up, but could have made a phone call for him or pushed my emergency button. I felt much better after I stopped, just to know he wasnt sitting waiting for someone to stop and help him.
