The ACC uses these dogs to help them evaluate other dogs in the shelter. The ACC uses the helper dogs because they good predictable and easy to work with. Read what volunteer wrote. THEY DON GET MUCH BETTER THAN RALPH!A volunteer writes: They dont come much better than Ralph! He is a little bony and his coat a little shabby, but he is very, very cute. His has a perpetual puppy face and his tail is always wagging. Ralph keeps his cage clean as long as he can and is always quick to do his business outside, so he may be housebroken. He is excited to go on walks and be in the company of his person, but walks well on leash (with the exception of the occasional jump - he likes to give hugs!). Ralph takes treats nicely and knows sit. When weve seen other dogs Ralph has been very waggy and seems friendly.
