Great reminder how each donation helps to change a persons life. Thank you Britten for sharing how it truly feels to be a breast cancer fighter. My children and I want to thank The Busted Foundation for something that is incredibly generous and unfortunately very much needed. They are a foundation that raises money and gives grants to women and men who are battling breast cancer. I am one of those incredibly blessed persons who was granted a very special Christmas gift this past year. Sometimes we cancer patients need help, but we dont always admit we need it. I am one of those. I dont know the exact reason. It may be because there are so many. Maybe we dont want to admit that all the meds we take, even the over the counter become quite costly. Maybe we simply want to maintain some kind of personal pride. It could also be that we dont want to be a burden on our families. Sometimes we feel that we dont want to let people know how we really are feeling and just try to pull through trying to act like nothing is wrong. I myself am guilty of all of the above. I am blessed by so many things in life, my children, family, great friends, my doctors and staff, and the incredible support of The Busted Foundation and all of their incredible donators and supporters.
