Great work by all — including HVA paramedic Peg Neufeglise, EMT Becca Searchfield and Colin Ryan from BVA as well as MCSO and the staff at Rite-Aid. This was an EMS call Henrietta Ambulance responded to on Christmas Eve. FROM BOB PERCYS PAGE: On the morning of Christmas Eve my father collapsed suddenly in Rite Aid and his heart stopped. Thanks to the quick actions of Mike Flaherty the pharmacist who immediately started CPR, Officer Toomey of the Monroe County Sheriffs Dept. who continued CPR when she arrived, the swift response and outstanding care from the Henrietta Ambulance and the oustanding care from U of R Strong hospital, my father is, as of this morning, starting to regain his factions and he is becoming more aware of his surroundings. Im not usually one to air his personal bidness on Facebook, but in light of the tremendous outpouring of love, prayers and well-wishes from my familys Facebook friends and the sheer number of people who have been touched by this truly wonderful man, Ive made an exception and am letting you all know his status. Thank you all for the prayers, words and support. I believe they were heard.
