Greed to be Good Puts You at Risk The quotation below is an example of a manipulative mindset. You are probably familiar with the vibe of these words. Are you good? I am struggling. Help me…if you are good. If you do not, you are not good. This is the hook that snags so many people who frankly are a little greedy to be good. It is a manipulative tactic used in negotiation, business and personal, formal and informal. It is one of the reasons that many nice guys and gals finish last. Greed to be good creates neediness and that makes you easy prey. Costs a lot of people a lot of money, and puts a lot of unearned money in other people’s pockets...not to mention the heartache. Ironically, I have become much nicer since getting that hook out of my mouth.
