Guess Ill find out in a sec if the Pending Approval thing is still in effect. That said, I think its very anti-internet and anti-community for a page like this to screen all posts. Not only is it more work for admins, but I think it inhibits the ability of members to voice their opinions, no matter how controversial they may be. In my opinion, the only thing that should be monitored is blatant spam such as a photo of money and some dingus telling you to PM them for details on how to get rich quick. Other than that, people have a right to say whatever they want so long as it relates to the groups ultimate mission. It shouldnt be pre-screened or censored in anyway. Letting the group as a whole determine the value of a post is what I believe to be the only proper way of engaging in this forum. I dont see any value in censorship or administrative controls when it comes to a public group such as this. Shielding people from alternative or unsavory perspectives does no one any benefit and stifles social progress amongst the group. Given the abundance of young kids in this group, allowing them to learn how interact in a civil manner, even if something offends or upsets them, is a valuable experience. So take off the damn parental controls already.
