Guys I may or may not have accidentally pasted abes entire resolution in the group.... Acknowledging the fact that approximately 123 million youths between the ages 15 and 24 lack basic, fundamental literacy skills – the ability to read and/or write – as a result of a lack of any opportunity at all, for formal, controlled education or any education whatsoever. Recalling the statistic that only 61% of the statistic alluded to above (23 million youths of 15-24 without any literacy abilities whatsoever) are members of the female race, Fully believing that whilst the gender disparity above is negative on some levels, 61% is a statistic that we should strive to maintain, due to women’s traditional roles as a race, involved in assisting the activity of their male counterparts, Further believing that in Syria, for example, the civil unrest – that has led to the deaths of around 260, 000, including 58 – 75 000 civilians; as well as around 5 million internally displaced people – makes education less of a priority than health and wellbeing, so 20% of women over 12 years old should reside at home, developing household efficiency so as to ensure that they can nurse the next generation in any scenario of danger and thereby prevent further casualties, Remarking that the Republic of Uganda offers the following Operative Clauses, is because of Uganda’s interpretation of male and female roles, as Uganda believes men must be allowed to (and aided in) ensu(ing)e the end of feuds and bring peace where it is relevant, but also defend their nations as they fight in war, much like men already do; Whilst women are suited tending to the household; family control; the youth that will grow to fulfill the male role of defending the nation, but still working in cohesion with their male counterparts. Calls for all relevant states to implement a policy whereby 20% of females (of a specific nation) fulfill one year of maternal sector duties (see operative clause 2) disparate from the introductory course, to prove their commitment to motherhood 2. Further calls for all women to undergo a three-week course of maternal sector duties: household maintenance, childbearing and general family control, entirely disparate from one’s time at home and other education experienced; 3. Asks for nations to offer their advice and assessment but in a constructive and educated manner, with regards the relevant proposal: Nations should institute a service whereby students are (i) offered an analysis of the sacrifices involved in adopting the role of a family and house maintaining woman and given a discussion with an ambassador, made available to them at an appropriate time. (ii) approached with regards their intention of fulfilling a full-time role in the maternal sector. (iii) if they select to become a maternal sector worker and become part of the suggested 20% then they must fulfill one year of the role without other work, so as to showcase their commitment (iv) the maternal duties can run parallel to regular life once the three-week course is concluded and the 20% have fulfilled their one year;4. Urges that those involved offer their own assessment, altering in accordance to their gender valuation and any other aspects perceived as relevant; 4. Advocates the consideration that the intention of this is not to disrupt everyday livelihood and means of income, but rather that it shall serve to provide the infrastructure from which tomorrow’s youth can prosper.
