HALLOWEEN 14 RECAP : just washed all this shit out of my hair, etc. PS i was Slimer tonight, but thanks to those of you who guessed Hulk. -DAMN! way too many bands in a good way, and every single one ripped. somehow even better than i expected them to be. seriously. howd that happen? - if you liked a bands set, check out their original tunes. if you havent figured it out yet, st louis has a shitload of good bands. - zeng and sarah got married and it almost made me cry. - it ran SO late. - I surprised most of you with a set of some of my favorite songs and got to play them with some of my favorite musicians who happen to be good friends of mine. - we collected donations for the childrens hospitals music therapy program. then they got stolen. thank you so much to those who gave, especially those who gave after the fact. it was extremely encouraging to see so many people step up right when i had the wind really yanked out of my sails. we were able to collect more money and will make an announcement tomorrow on the quantity. all of that means a lot. it was really awful to end such a great night on that note, but everybody helped clean up the mess metaphorically. stellar work. - thank you SO much to everybody who played, partied, cleaned anything, etc. again, if you havent figured it out yet, this town has it goin on. appreciate it! - seeya next year!
