HANDY HINT: Do you enjoy singing nursery rhymes and reading stories with your little one? Would you like to join other mums and their little ones in some singing, fun and story time? A vast majority of community libraries in most areas in Melbourne host story-time/tinies-time sessions at least once or twice a week for no cost at all. The librarian will lead the group of mums and their bubs in some nursery rhyme singing and read some fun and interactive stories in a cute little kid-friendly space in the library. Depending on which age group your little one slots into, the sessions held for the older ones also have craft activities to do and take home! Sessions go for around half an hour- 45 minutes. It is a great way to connect with other Mums in your local area and makes a trip to the library to borrow books a lot more meaningful and fun! Want to give it a go? If you know the name of your local library, type the name and suburb into your google search engine and your library link should come up. Click onto the link and look for your library calender or events page. Or simply give your local library a call and your librarian will be happy to give you descriptions of the sessions, age slots and times. Alternatively another way to access more information, and if you are unsure of where your nearest library is located, click onto one of the links below most suited to you. For mums located in the Casey/Cardinia area, visit: cclc.vic.gov.au/whatson OR For mums located in and around the City of Greater Dandenong, visit: greaterdandenong/events/search?key=&loc=0&cat=36&month=&sdate=&edate=&p=1 Enjoy!!! :)
