Magomeni Youth Development Organization (MYDO) is among the organization which intends to improve development in Zanzibar. It was registered on 7th October 2013 as an NGO the major aim is to create and provide job opportunity in Zanzibar. The major aim of MYDO is to help the government to reduce the rate of unemployment in Zanzibar. VISION. To improve development among Zanzibar Societies. MISSION. Creating, planning and implementing the various activities which will provide job opportunities to different contexts, socially, culturally and technologically. OBJECTIVES. 1. To initiate educational programs on the misuse of substance and drug abuse and contracting the HIV/AIDS diseases. 2. To empower and coordinate children’s rights in Zanzibar. 3. To help venerable, Orphans, disable and alienated youths in Zanzibar. 4. To conduct different researches and development that will help combat poverty in Zanzibar. 5. To prepare and plan different publishes that will help erode human right abuse. 6. To empower youths through finding different scholarships that will help further their education. 7. To conduct and prepare different project that will help to create jobs. 8. Enhancement of peace, solidarity and unity in Zanzibar.
