HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN GABRIEL! 4 years ago I gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy, You. Even on your first day of life the nurses and everyone who saw you commented on your beautiful eyes and how you looked like such an old soul. You smiled all day long, never fussed, and always had this look like you knew something I didn’t know. I always knew you were somehow different but I had no idea that you were going to be the superhero that you are today. The day I was told you had cancer, my world just stopped and came crashing down, my first thought was “how long would I have you for again? would you make it? would you get to be 3?” , I was so afraid to even think a day ahead and decided to take the one hour at a time approach, just focusing on getting through every hour of the day, I was able to stay positive, keep calm and take care of you the best that I could, while the doctors and the chemo did their job. Stay positive, believing and telling you everyday that you WILL make it is the best thing I’ve ever done to this day. You fought to stay with us while we were trying to find out what you had, you fought bravely through all your sessions of chemo and you continue to fight like the amazing superhero you were born to be. At just 3 years old you started spreading cancer awareness, you are sharing your life and your friends lives with the world, now you don’t feel alone anymore, you have hundreds and hundreds of people going through this journey with you, rooting for you, praying for you. Contrary to what some believed, YOU MADE IT to 4, and you will continue to have many many many many more birthdays. My beautiful Logan, you are a precious blessing to me and to the world. Continue to capture hearts, continue to fight, hold on to every dream you have because if there is one person I know can make anything possible is you. My heart bursts with joy today and everyday knowing that I gave birth to my Superhero and that you are loved by many. Like we say every night, I love you, around the galaxy and back 100 trillion infinite times
