HAVING A PLAN IS NOT THE PLAN! At some point in time we are all faced with the decision of what we want to be or do with our lives when we grow up. We often tend to construct this almost fairy tail life style that is comfortable and care free. We have to be careful not to let these (what seem to be) simple life goals mutate into selfish ambitions or other wicked ways. So why is it that when we ask a child what they want to be when they grow up they always say something like "an astronaut" or a "firefighter" (or even something completely out) but never hear them say, "When I grow up, I want to be a man of God" or "a fisher of men"... I guess what I am trying to say is, *Proverbs 22:6(NIV)- Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. * Proverbs 3:5-6(NIV)- Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. REMEMBER *Jeremiah 29:11(NIV)- For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
