HELP! HELP! HELP! *Panic, panic, panic!* Honey de Peralta talked to me about it. I absentmindedly said yes, and then immediately forgot it. I am old. And April happened too fast. Anyway, FFP is participating in NBDBs event for World Book Day on April 23. We will be given a 2x4 feet table. Target audience is the general public and other book clubs. Thats all I know for now. What I need from you wonderful people: - volunteers to be there at the booth (Of course, I will be there too.) - ideas I think were supposed to have some kind of book swap thing going on. So Im thinking we can have a LoTo (Leave 1, Take 1) basket. We start off with about a dozen books, and anybody can just leave 1 and take 1. So, Ill be needing some spare books from you. I can prepare a handout on what makes us click as a book club. Im thinking of a photo booth. I can bring my costumes. And anyone can just borrow them and take their own pics. BUT, I dont know if we have enough space. Plus that would require a backdrop tarp. And Im not sure about the logistics of hanging that up. Bookmarks? Any more ideas?
