HELPFUL HINT OF THE DAY FROM KAY. On Mondays I make my salt free/fat free chicken broth. I use a skinless cornish hen, bay leaves, onion, celery, carrots, fresh parsley....the standard ingredients. The sun tea jar is how I separate the fat. Once the broth is cooled enough I strain the broth into the tea jar, and place in the fridge overnight. This allows the fat to rise to the top, and any settlement sinks to below the spout. You simply dispense your clear broth into individual containers and freeze till needed. Will post a photo tomorrow to show you all how well this works. Its a very inexpensive way to get the best broth and always have it on hand.
