HISTORY OF ABUSES/INSULT TO PROPHETS: When They Insult Our Prophet (PBUH), will u vandalise and wreak havoc? What is the Qurans prospective on reacting to insults against our Prophet (PBUH)? Prophets, down the ages, from Adam to Moses to Jesus to Muhammad (PBUH), have been mocked and abused by their contemporaries and these are recorded: 1) In Quran - (36:30); some of the epithets cited in the Quran include a liar (40:24), possessed (15:6), a fabricator (16:101), a foolish man (7:66)..as I read there are more than 200 verses in the Quran where prophets from Adam to Muhammad (PBUT) were abused. Also recorded that - 2) people of Taif abused, mocked, stoned prophet Muhammad, his shoes soaked with blood but he not only forgave them but prayed for them when he could punish them, 3) a jew woman used to throw rubbish on him daily but when one day he could not see her, he went to ask if she is ok and he found her sick & helped her, she regretted and accepted the message of Muhammad (SAW); 4) Muhammad (SAW) was helping an unknown old woman, she was pleased and advised Muhammad (SAW) and said, Be careful from Muhammad and he is such a bad person. Muhammad smiled and said he is Muhammad. So many such incidents, where is the patience of todays Muslims? Wen u protest & vandalise: i) You r doing ad n marketing for the cartoon/movie, otherwise such cartoon/movie shud hv been dustbin stuff n no one would be aware of such cartoon/movie. I mean you are helping their business by doing their marketing and making it hit/famous by engaging vandalism, means encouraging them to make more of such cartoon/movie. ii) U r showing to the world that Muslims are extremists. To guard the respect & honor of prophet is in Allah/Gods hand not ur hand. I strongly feel that if prophet Muhammad(SAW) exists today, he would be so sad to see todays Muslims behavior. I think people should engage in other better and constructive work instead of wasting their energy. You can please Allah/God in many ways by doing good deeds for humanity. Via Azad Ali Shah
