UCHE NWOSU congratulates CHIEF Owelle Rochas Okorocha on his emergence as the APC Gubernatorial for Imo :::::::::::::::::: The Hon.Commissioner for Lands,Survey and Urban Planning, Chief UCHE NWOSU,(UGWUMBA) has congratulated the Executive Governor of Imo State, Chief Owelle Rochas Anayochukwu Okorocha, OON on his emergence as the APC flag Bearer for Imo State gubernatorial election. Chief UCHE nwosu made this while declaring his interest to withdraw from the race after being elected by APC delegates. Briefing the press, he maintained that his decision to withdraw from the race was informed after consulting with his family.By this, chief UCHE nwosu has proved that personal interest should not be placed above party or collective interest,a trait lacking in majority of our political leaders.He also maintained that leadership should be seen as an opportunity to serve and wondered why people are desperate to the extent of trying to steal the mandate of the people via corrupt means. To all the delegates that voted for him,he appreciated their love for him. Speaking further, hon. UCHE nwosu assured the people of being with them. He informed the people that having stuck out his neck to ensure forward and progressive movement of IMOLITES, time will come when somebody has to make huge sacrifice. He reminded all that APC being the fastest growing party in Africa, is a big family and will stop at nothing in bringing the change needed by the Country at large. In his words,he reminded all that why APC should be trusted is because APC has extreme respect for rule of law,internal and external democracy. On the just concluded APC Presidential primary, he congratulated the winner of the primary election in the person of GENERAL MUHAMMAD BUHARI (rtd ). Chief UCHE nwosu also congratulated all those that participated in the hotly contested APC primary election and those that organised it. According to him, such outing has gone a long way in showing to the global community that APC organised and does not believe in imposition. The principles are built on the tenets of true democracy. On chief Owelle Rochas okorocha presidential attempt, Chief UCHE nwosu described him as a true igbo son who will never sit and watch the igbo race relegated to the background in nations politics. He challenged other self acclaimed igbo sons and daughters to come forward and list their efforts to protect the respect and dignity of an igbo man. He went further to inform th press that chief Owelle Rochas okorocha is fully back to continue his good work to imolites for another four years.
