HSC PROJECTS: Serious quality work Here are some of the outstanding Industrial Technology major work projects for the HSC course. Students from Bulahdelah Central School have been working on these for the past twelve months as part of their HSC. They will be on display in the Student Support Centre on 22nd & 25th August. Brayden Dorney - Curved Top Blanket Box. Made from varying Australian Hardwood with Red Cedar panels. It contains a push to open drawer as well as gas struts to aid the lid opening. Daniel Sahyoun – Hardwood Hall Table and accessories. A Japanese themed hall table made from Australian hardwoods, native to our area. It has a lovely granite centre piece with under table lighting to emphasis the beautiful colours of the project. Contains accessories of a turned bowl and pot with bamboo vase. Dylan Watt – Modern Hardwood Swinging Garden Seat. Made from a mix of Hardwood and Merbau decking to outlast the harsh Australian climate. Jake Kilgannon - Rustic Style Centre Island Bench. Rustic design made from Australian hardwoods consisting of granite and End Grain Hardwood chopping boards with under bench storage. Sarah Ross - Blanket Box. Made from Tasmanian Oak with a glass top lid covering a collage of family photos. Meagan Terry - Storage Box. Made from Tasmanian Oak with random laminated timber off cuts made into a mitered panel inlay. Contains an internal side to side drawer compartment. Thomas Allen – Day Bed with curved back. A day bed designed from a mix of Australian timbers such as Blue Gum and Radiata Pine , and hints of Jacaranda. It contains a hidden push-to-open drawer for storage underneath. Odin Kemi – Laminated Coffee Table. Coffee table consisting of a mix of Tasmanian Oak and Radiata Pine.
