HUMILITY IS THE ESSENCE OF GODS SERVANT. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. ( 2 Corinth.5:17 ) God wants you to thrive so you can lead a positive life in a negative world. But to flourish in all areas of your life, you have to want to be successful. You must desire more for every area of your life—especially spiritually. And that involves a willingness to obey God’s plan and principles. The Lord will satisfy the heart that is hungry for Him and His will. When we are transformed into a new creation we are set right with God. Our Spirit is given the nature of God and we are made perfect. We acquire the zeal for God and for His glory. But in our human nature we fall into lot of temptations. This is the time we must resist this evil and not allow anger and negative passions overwhelm us. We are set apart from God when we exhibit anger and negative passions. Our God wants us to serve Him on his own terms i.e with joy and gladness and humility. A person who serves God with meekness serves better than a person with fury. In fact angry man cannot serve God. Angry man cannot be his servant. Jesus himself set an example for all of us. He humbled himself and took the very nature of a servant though he was Son of God. He made himself nothing, some thing to be grasped. Humility is the essence of a servant. And if we call ourselves servant of God, then humility should be our identity. Humility should be our nature. Humility should be our passion. And then, if we serve our Master with such nature which will please him, he will take delight in us.
