Had this crazy dream when I was sleeping. I rejoined my old reserve unit. Fox co. Milwaukee at 41 years of age! It wasnt an infantry unit anymore, it was engineers. I was issued my own collapsible pull behind travel trailer! I made the decision while hanging out in an alley with my neighbor and Marine Jim Cronin. He said if you want to do it, do it! Your wife will be cool with it.The kicker was..... I didnt tell my wife! That Saturday I spent most of the day trying to text her why I wouldnt be home that night! All the other Marines were fine with me not training while this was going on, they were on their phones too. They were even counterfeiting money in one guys trailer! I stuck out like a sore thumb too, I had woodland camo on as opposed to everyone elses computerized camo pattern. I guess that means no more ice cream,pizza, and hot dogs before bed, the night before the Marine Corps birthday!
