Happy Father’s Day, to all of the great dads. You know who you are. You’re the dad who supports his family, emotionally, financially and physically. You’re the dad who understands that to be a loving dad, he teaches by example. He may be teaching his kids to love learning by reading bedtime stories at night, sharing that privilege with mom. He can instruct about personal hygiene by helping with bath time. He can coach the finer aspects of eating by helping with meals. And, by leading by example, your children will know that having a balanced family, all members share in the household workload, especially when most households are dependent on both parents working outside of the home. Being a good dad also means teaching your kids about our responsibility to our home —the place you stay, the land on which it is built, and the systems we depend on to support our homes. A dad can influence what a child believes in, and how important that belief is in life.
