Happy Friday!! Whooo hoooo. Made it through the chemo treatment - TopicsExpress

Happy Friday!! Whooo hoooo. Made it through the chemo treatment yesterday. I even held my arm down to help with the vein search without her advising. My nurse laughed, but was just trying to do my part to help. I got my immune booster shot this morning -- so far, so good. Stil taking their anti-nausea medicine, so after tomorrow will see how it starts affecting me. I am hoping that since I threw up and had other issues due to my own nerves and anxiety before I even had my chemo, maybe I got it out of my system, and it wont happen during chemo! One can only hope! Also, and most important, there is another person that is scheduled to take chemo on my scheduled chemo days. I want to ask for prayers for her. She has a negative 3 cancer and basically, her chemo is just prolonging the inevitable for her. It will come back even worse some day, and it is very disheartening to hear this. I will be spending the next 4 chemo treatments with her and we havent had a chance to talk much yet, but would just like some prayers for a miracle for her that God heals her permanently regardless of what type of cancer it is. Lastly, for those of you who may be more private than I am and might be looking for a good oncologist, Dr. Log is your man, and his assistants. They are WONDERFUL. God put me in the right hands. They are already part of my family, and Jennifer, who administers my chemo has already cried several times with me, laughed and is just amazing. They are so, so awesome. Message me if you are someone that wants more information. I can hook you up! Thanks again for continued prayers. I know that while yesterday and today have been good, the reality is I will feel worse as days go on, so continued prayers that it all stays manageable and I can take care of me and get back to work too. Gotta keep those white cell counts up and stay healthy. Love all, Mary.
