Happy #FridayFollowup! The Singh family adopted not one, not two, - TopicsExpress

Happy #FridayFollowup! The Singh family adopted not one, not two, but three dogs from the SPCA of Texas - including two who have special needs. Heres a great update on Sammy, Snow & JD: We had three dogs for years until they crossed the rainbow bridge. We decided to adopt Snow Monster after a friend sent a picture of him and my wife, Arthi, fell in love with him. When we went to see him at the SPCA of Texas, the adoption counselor asked me if we were sure we wanted him since he was deaf. The way Arthi and Snow Monster connected I told her it was already decided. When we got him home he had several anxieties that come from his deafness. The first and foremost was separation anxiety. After a very short time we knew he needed a friend. We looked online and I wanted to get what we thought was the most unlikely dog to be adopted. Sammy was the one. From the first meet and greet there at the SPCA they were peas in a pod. The two of them have always been best friends, running, playing and yes destroying things. They are dogs, thats what they do. When Arthi saw the picture of who we named JD (Axel as he was known at the SPCA) she started with we need this dog. I tried to say no, but how could you say no to that face? Now the three of them have formed a bond and JD is the boss. They chase rabbits, birds and anything else they can find. Before this experience I had never adopted a pet from the SPCA of Texas, but my view now is everyone should give these precious guys a loving home. If anyone reading this has the time and love to adopt, I strongly urge them to do so. All pets need a loving home. Adopted, too? Tell us about your SPCA of Texas pets below!
