Happy New Year! Heres the latest efforts - At the end of last week, I cut, sanded and primed a cover for the access to the plumbing, and used a round-over bit to put a radius on the edge. I primed it with Killz primer after sanding. Here in the next few days, Im going to run to Home Depot and find some nice decorative bezels to go around the screws and screw holes (sorry, having a hard time describing what I mean), and Ill also buy some of that polymer molding to put a nice trim around the hole to make it look nice. Before I mount all of it again Ill paint the board with the nice white paint that I used for all of the other trim... In order to avoid having the screws and screw holes to close to the edge of the board, I cut and installed some 45-degree braces that I can use to screw in to. To mount them, I used a Kreg Pocket-Hole jig; the pocket-holes are easily seen in the second photograph. I love my Kreg Jig, and have used it for many, many things!
