Happy New Year to everyone! Heads up!...we have changed the location for the 2016 reunion from Orlando, FL to San Diego, CA. Andy Blenkle is able to help us manage the reunion in 2016 and has made arrangements for us to tour MCAS Miramar on Friday, September 23. The reunion dates will be September 22- 25, 2016. The Reunion hotel will be Crowne Plaza San Diego, 2270 Hotel Circle North. It is in the same area we were in 2013 which is convenient to airport and other places of interest in San Diego. The Crowne Plaza is a nice hotel and the room rate will be $110.00 per night plus taxes - which is excellent for San Diego. The 2015 reunion is scheduled for September 16 - 20, 2015 at the Radisson Hotel Branson, MO. We held the 2009 Reunion at the Radisson and everyone had a great time. Our group rate is $93++ for single or double and Leisure Suite $139 plus tax. These rates are good for three (3) Pre and Post nights to the reunion dates, as well. Branson is a great place for Veterans and has a lot of good family entertainment. You can make reservations by calling the hotel at 417-335-5767 or 888-566-5290. For the group event, we have reserved space for the Battalion on the Branson Bell Show Boat. This will be for a luncheon cruise and show. We are getting a group discount on the Branson Bell Show Boat and will be sending more information in the next couple of months. Then look under previous reunions for Alexandria 2014. For those of you wanting the reunion at Disney in Orlando, we are still considering it for 2017. Gunny Mac says we can take care of 2017 at a later time. Our goal is to pick locations that are accessible and entertaining to ensure you all will have a good time. Have a wonderful 2015!
