Happy Weird Wednesday!!! This week will be extra special since Halloween is nigh! So We will have our typical Weird Wednesday topic PLUS an exclusive Halloween event this week!!! I spoil you *winks*... I know I have already done a segment on post mortem photography, but this video calls for an encore, frankly because it is the first PMP collection that actually CREEPS ME OUT! I warn those with more sensitive dispositions to be aware that there is nudity, mutilated body parts and disturbing themes in this video... Also I would ask those people (in sincerity) WHY ARE YOU HERE?! lol I am guessing that these were all made by the same artist who used dead bodies as his medium to make portraits and still-lifes... Some of them are kinda beautiful, and some are funny but there are a few that I just had to pause and stare at for a while... And I do not startle easily. I am not sure what my opinion is on this, there are places in the world that have used the bodies and the bones of the dead as art for centuries, ONE OF THEM IS A CHURCH! But this seemed to go a little too far, I am assuming these were done with consent, but considering the time period and knowing the laws of the time regarding cadavers I would not rule out grave robbing, which adds a whole new WTF to this exhibit. They are all black and white, and surprisingly not as gory as you would expect but you can almost smell the putrid meat rotting as the artist arranged fresh fruit and flowers around it... I expected more flies in the frames if you get my drift. So, here it is I think I have built this up enough...
