Happy ending concludes a week off work and a brilliant night out last night. Phils cat Luna went missing on Thursday and after being missing for 4 days we feared the worst. Searching and calling for her since her disappearance we finally found her wedged between our neighbours house and the next one. After trying to entice her out with our neighbour for about an hour we had to resort to contacting the fire brigade, who came down to assist. Luckily our neighbour consented to the fire department breaking down her courtyard fence but unfortunately it did not end there. They did all they could by making space for Luna to free herself but she was still frozen, out of reach, from fear. Two hours later and with a massive conduit that I constructed by taping fishing rods together. I managed to prod her and prompt her towards Phil who was waiting to grab her at the other end, and she was finally free. We cant thank our neighbour enough for allowing her fence to be destroyed and we also appreciate the effort by three fire fighters to come to her rescue. After 10 minutes of being safely home, some food and drink, she is happy and fighting fit, with absolutely no evidence of her ordeal. A very happy ending indeed!!
