Happy to hear that the LEMONCELLO LIBRARY SCAVENGER HUNT GAME that we put together continues to be a hit all over America! And these guys added their own sneaky twist! Hi Chris, I just wanted to let you know that our Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library game was a huge success. We had 40 5th & 6th graders divided into teams of four. The catch was that we hid only 3 sets of anagrams so that teams would eventually have to form alliances or make deals in order to win. My older book group girls came down from the Junior High and were amazing helpers. I gave them each a job; Keeper of the Clues, In the Stacks, Jack, Photo Bug, etc. The kids were so excited and they were ALL in. One young man (EFMLL his favorite book of all time) came to WIN and helped his team forge alliances with 2 other teams. They were the first to solve all the anagrams, but they misinterpreted the library clue so the second place team swooped in at the last minute for the win. Mr. Lemoncello would’ve been so proud. Lol! I am including pictures so you can see what fun we had. The young man I mentioned is in green. The winning team is holding the Mr. Lemoncello Library Sign.
