Happy to say wound vac change went very well today. No tears. Removed another drain today so we are now down to just one feeding tube and one drain. Pain pump was taken away and now she is taking it in pill form. Just pray she can keep it down bc she has been having really bad nausea for the part four days . On a positive note she did get up and walk around the entire nurses station and sat in a chair for a hour . We will start tonight trying to use her feeding tube again . Dr said she can have whatever she wants by mouth that she feels her stomach can handle . She did keep down two crackers today. After not eating for almost 6 weeks nothing taste good an she doesnt really want anything. However I feel like we are going in the right direction . I thank God everyday for all he has done for my baby. Please continue to pray for her recovery . As soon as she is strong enough we will transfer to a in patient rehab which looks will be Childrens .
