Has anyone else ever run into the policy below when trying to block rooms at a hotel before? No other hotel within 20 miles of this one (I checked) has this policy. I want my group to use this property but will not submit to the policy below. I block rooms all the time. Should I contact the owner and tell him his policy just cost him 12 to 14 rooms @ $109.00 plus tax? -A $500.00 credit card authoizatton, for a deposit is required as security for your group and will be used to cover any incured noise complaints or damages as a result of your guests actions, if the guest credit card fails to approve foi the additional amount. Please communicate this policy with your guests to ensure appropriate behavior. This $500.00 deposit will not be authorized on your credit card until the week of your function and will be released the day after the last room in your group checks out, provided that no incidents have occurred. please allow up to five business days for the fuIl $500.00 authorizationrefund to apply back on your card.
