Has anyone heard of a dish called Stritzel? (Sp) Here is what Betty asked me. ....Years ago when I was a little kid growing up in Milwaukee, I seem to remember a German food called Stritzel (not Schnitzel). I think it was a dessert, but it was white and stringy, kind of like pasta noodles in the way it hung off the fork with a white/milky type sauce. Does this sound at all familiar? Any of the family members that might have been able to answer this question are deceased and I thought may you would have some ideas. Thank you, I do appreciate any clues and I always learn new things from all your posts....Stephen
