Have always said that equality will not exist until all get paid the same for the work that they do. PAY ME LESS SAID NO ONE EVER! Women got the vote a long time ago now, but nothing has change in many ways while this one sector of the community is held back by having to endure less pay. All genders should be paid the same for the same job. That should be a given, but alas is not. It is time for this to be changed. When I heard about this campaign to address this in a proactive way I cannot express how this made me feel. Hope. Yes, hope. There is hope for the gender inequity in pays to be address by companies undertaking a simple gender pay equity analysis. Measures can be set in place to ensure that this does not happen further. Why wouldnt a company want to value their employees? I am putting my name behind this initiative fully for all. Both men and women. Equal pay for one and all.
