Have the Irish Political establishment been so eager to get the dirt on Gerry Adams that with the aid of her aunt Eilis O Hanlon ( Journalist with the Irish Independent) they simply took Maria Cahills word as gospel. I dont know which is true and which is imagined in all of this, but I do sometimes wonder why Marias anger is directed at Gerry Adams rather than the man who allegedly abused her.
