Have you ever been told you did not fit the criteria to shop in a certain store?! Well we live among this & Fashion (outside of JcPenney in Greenbrier mall) in my opinion discriminates! Previously, I had a girlfriend walk in to be told right upon entering they had nothing for her. They did not carry her size. How beyond awful is that?? Now mind you.. she is not a large woman at all but apparently shes not a vision of the size 2 customer they obviously cater to! Tonight while passing the store my 12 year old daughter and her best friend Kiley were admiring their gowns through the window. They asked our permission to go into the store and look at them. Reluctantly we said yes. After our girls walked in within a minute of them being there ( husband & wife owner) rudely told them they were too young & too small to fit in their clothes, gave them a snarky look & asked them to leave hurting their feelings. Kileys daddy walked into the store to voice his complaint asking them why they were so rude? It then went beyond unprofessional when the male owner proceeded to flip the bird putting his middle finger up to Kis daddy. Warning: These stores do exist! I cannot keep my mouth shut and not say anything. Two young girls admiring beautiful gowns with hopes and dreams of someday being able to wear them when they are young women....squashed within a minute of somebody elses ignorance. A girlfriend previously who maybe....just maybe ... could have been actually looking for a gown for her daughters prom treated like dirt because she was not their ideal size for their gowns. I will NEVER support this kind of business in this lifetime and will tell everyone I know of the unprofessionalism and discrimination of this store. Very sad this exists in our world today. :(
