Have you ever sat back and taken a moment to compare your life between now and then? I mean, Ive lingered here for an hour or so, just thinking about where Ive been. Sat back and watched the memories roll by while I soak it up, and think back to that time again. And when the memories fade, have all gone their separate ways, I fall back to the present and cant help but grin. That stupid goofy smile that has been hidden from the rest of the world for so long. It hasnt had the time to come out because my shoulders weighed it down, seeming like something was still wrong. Then those few people came to show me something that I hadnt been seeing right. Sweeping in through my defenses, and showing me that my life can truly be bright. And now Im startng to realize Gods love for me, cause now I can stand. For now I have someone so close, the only thing to bring me hurling back to present time..... Is the simple touch of your hand. It makes it alright again. They all brought me back to the present, and now you help me forgot about then. You know this is for you, those who have shown the strength given by God to me I feel like a blind man who can see.
