He said: I attend a lot of Islamic functions and lectures. I have lot of Islamic literature and books. I listen all the time to reminders on MP3. However, I don’t feel that I am benefiting from all of that! This is the case with a lot of Muslims. They lack a very important aspect that prevents them from benefitting of what they learn; implementation! Allah says: “but if they had done what they were preached with, it would have been better for them, and would have strengthened their (Faith)” Therefore, without ‘doing’ or acting upon what we are ordered to do, one can’t be steadfast. Ponder upon this and check how much of what you know you are actually implementing and doing in your life! This would give you an idea how steadfast you are going to be in the coming years! May Allah make our hearts steadfast on Islam.
