Hearing rumours nick maxwell is going to announce his retirement after being told his ankle injury is season ending - I would like to congratulate nick on a great career , nick has had his knockers throughout his time in the afl but his record speaks for itself - a man who I have met a couple of times who is nothing short of a gentleman and a genuine nice bloke. Thank you nick for your leadership and the role model you provided for all the younger magpies on the field. I for one will miss the number 5 running around playing the maxwell Role x
