Heavenly Father, I thank You that Youve given me a renewed life every day through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Father God, I know that Im NOT the exemplary Christian by no means & Im not even trying to be a pastor - because I know that to be a pastor You judge them greater than an average person, such as myself, because of their calling to lead their flock to You, as a shepherd would lead their herd. Father God, Im just trying to live my life as best that I can according to Your commandments & statutes. Father God, I know that Im far from being perfect, You are the ONLY perfect being in this ENTIRE universe. People are only fooling themselves if they perceive themselves as being perfect. Id learned that a long time ago trying to be a perfectionist & failing EVERY time. Id had to learn the hard way to forgive myself, to pick myself up & to move forward by Your strength because on my own, I couldnt have succeed. But by Your grace & Your mercy, everythings possible. Every day Father that You bless me with the breath of life, I try to do to the best of my ability to strive for excellence as a commitment to give You honor & glory for all that Youve bestowed upon myself & all of my loved ones. Father God, I know that not everything that I may say or do may be pleasing to Your Holy Spirit & Id been convicted of it, many times & Ive asked for Your forgiveness, many times. But Father God, there may be those times that Id sinned & I may not have realized it nor was I sensitive enough to Your Holy Spirit because Id become so comfortable in committing these sins that it became second nature & I was totally oblivious of it. Please forgive me, Father. Father God, I thank You that for EVERY sin that Id committed (& will probably commit until You call me home) whether it be through my thoughts, my speech or by my actions, knowing or unknowingly, Youve given me a pardon through my confession & admission of them to You through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Father God, I thank You that even when I was ignorant of my sins, not realizing that Id sinned, that You still loved me so immensely that Your Son died upon the cross to wash ALL of my sins pure by His blood. Father God, I know that people will continually condemn me for my wrongdoings, theyll continually throw it up in my face to embarrass or belittle me for my mistakes. But, with You, once I confess EVERYTHING to You, ask Your forgiveness & release them all to You, because of Your eternal love, grace & mercy You forgive me, & all is forgotten about because Id been purified by His blood. Father God, I thank You that its not mans approval or acknowledgement that Im seeking out, Im seeking out only Yours because I know that I could NEVER please every person that I may meet in my life & its not my job to please everyone. My sole purpose in this world, until You call me home, is to just please ONLY You, in everything that I do & in everything that I say. In Jesus name I pray & ask all of these things, Amen.
