Hello Everyone! Id like to take a moment and share some news about our Artists Alley that you may not be aware of. Our artists alley is moving from its old location to the North courtyard on the other side of the MacEwan Students Center. The North courtyard is located beside the Dairy Queen and the Stor by the food court in MSC. Id like to tell you why this is going to be awesome for both patrons and artists! For our artists, the North courtyard addresses two major issues that you have asked us to resolve for years. First is the lighting. The North courtyard features a glass ceiling, allowing natural light to come in. No longer will you have to showcase your talent in darkness. Second, we are giving more space in the aisles for your customers. It will allow traffic to flow freely and allow you more opportunities to interact with our patrons. For our patrons, the North courtyard allows you to check out artists alley at your convenience! We took your feedback about needing to line up for vendors to get to artists alley. Feel free to shop at your leisure! You also wont be squished while youre shopping! Most importantly though, you will be able to talk to the artists and have your questions answered in a much quieter, relaxed environment. Were really excited for you to check out the change we made to Artists Alley this year so please make sure you walk over to the North Courtyard at Otafest 2014.
