Glencoe Astros Minor Ball President – Mike Black Treasurer – Don May Glencoe Minor Softball Media Release Here is a story to remember: An ORSA (Ontario Rural Softball Association) team from a small town going undefeated and winning the OASA (Ontario Amateur Softball Association) Eliminations is unheard of! In fact, the convenor from the OASA said it has never happened before. We are still trying to digest the fact that the Glencoe Astros Peewee team is the NEW Ontario Champions. We are all very proud of this team. The next step is the Under 14 Canadian Championships to be held from August 2 to August 5 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. This trip will have a cost running in the tens of thousands of dollars. Because of this, we are asking for those of you that wish to support this most incredible experience that may never come again, to offer up any donation amount to help defray some of the costs for these families. All donations are greatly appreciated and receipts will be issued upon request. Any cheques can be made out to Glencoe Minor Ball. People can donate at No Frills as well, during checkout. In addition, we are having a raffle for an Autographed Tie Domi Jersey, and a can and bottle drive.
